The RS Forums That The Flexibility Of Facebook

days hours remaining

Hello, recently I had been checking out Runescape as a lurker on these forums and the RSOF. I see the last appears to be the current sentiments of the majority of players today, but I digress.

Noticed the modifications here and there, single new quest for F2P and Squeal of Fortune (that caused quite a buzz here back when it was published, rofl) as well as Titles. Personally, I think that the SoF is quite lame, seeing that the majority of the valuable stuff are for mems to be claimed, not like they would put an early statuette (value 5m) within the rewards.

The question is, what is there to do today? Back when I played actively I enjoyed the standard clan wars involving both clans in the Wildy before they created the Gamers' Grotto, but most clans now appear to be people that require active devotion or something. I strongly doubt that I will commit to being in a clan in a game like RS, watching that better offerings such as Guild Wars two may become my main match. I'd enjoy having the ability to just join 1 facet of a clan to get a few wars and log , but I am not positive if that's possible.

I mainly made this thread to ask for ideas that one man can do to have fun without being in a clan. It sounds quite ludicrous, actually, because the MMO- label implies you have to have other people to have fun, but I don't know. I do recall walking around as a newbie and being awed with just how big the area of RS was, but the magic certainly lost. And like most players that are here, we're past the time of having the ability to grind for a couple of hours straight in one skill. Achievements of abilities are fun if you value that, but I got bored of levelling once I struck 106. Just too much work for a +1 in the level.
