My life is crumbling right before my eyes

I'm waiting for the day my heart finally stops and dies.

I don't want your pity, I don't want your hate

I've had enough, I just want it all to fade.

Some people hate me, but honestly, so do I

It only takes a word or a thought for me to break and cry.

Frightened and paranoid, I feel like I'm going blind

Because despite it all, I'll fly and never look behind.

I'd been warned; I shouldn't really complain

Though all of this regret will soon drive me insane.

Keep feeding my dark, impulsive, malicious thoughts

Killing off the happiness I once had sought.

Now here I am, alone and blackened

Hurting myself over what might have happened.

Maybe someday all of this will go

And I'll be able to endlessly rest, deep down below.
